KDSI story...

nearly a month of fully trained-by-the-Navy course, finally the juniors completed a 4 weeks Alpha routine. last year my Alpha routine was 6 weeks and 2 weeks of tough days onboard Fajar Samudera.
days in KDSI for me were meaningful as we're exposed to all kind of Naval Terms, Damage Control Fire Fighting, Nuclear Biology Chemical Damage, Naval Communication, Seamanship, Material Management and maintenance, and so on..
Days begin with EMA (early morning activity) followed by hours of class then go for sports in the evening then night round at night.
myself planned to break the Base run record, however the competition is too little, i was hoping for a close fight between me and the cadets of KDSI. every Time Trial Base Run i lead the crowd and the chase pack was hundreds meters away from me. so i didn't have the urge to push to my limit. my best time was 20minutes 57 seconds which i ran with the new technique that i've learned.

to compare us with the products of KDSI is totally asymmetric.
they're fully trained by the Navy whereas we're trained by the Army Regimental.

most people in KDSI show their suprised face knowing that i completed 2 Ironmans.
it is possible for everyone to do IM, just that the developement for sports in KDSI is not as good as UPNM. they have some very powerful runner like Yugu tho...
